My love affair with perfect pie recipes has been a life long pursuit. My parents loved to camp so we on our travels we made many a pit stop at the local diner.
And you know what you always find at Diners? That’s right.
The most beautiful pies on earth.
Seriously. I would absolutely salivate when I looked in the dessert showcase at all of those pies. As a kid, Blueberry Pie was my number one go to pie. No ice cream or whipped cream for me though. Just pie.
Diners are still my absolutely fav place to find the absolute perfect pie recipes!
Now I started to put this collection together for National Pie Day – which is on January 23 every year. Kind of like a Christmas Day for Pies! But life happens, and although I put up an amazing post on Buzzfeed – which you can still enjoy here, my post for Pie Lady Bakes has been a little delayed. Until now! Oh you had me at cheesecake! No bake pies are so easy and isn’t this one absolutely perfect?
When I see Key Lime Pie I think of sunny Florida days, sugary beaches, and outdoor BBQs!
