GOOEY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES FAQS
Should Brownies be gooey? I think brownies should be gooey and chewy! There really are two different types of brownies – those that are gooey and chewy like this recipe, and then there are cake like brownies. What makes them cake like is the number of eggs you include – fewer eggs means a chewier brownie.
How do you know when gooey brownies are done? For gooey, fudgy brownies, bake for the exact time stated, and take them out of the oven at the minimum time. So if the recipe calls for 30 to 35 minutes then take them out of the oven at 30 minutes.
Should Brownies be gooey in the middle? When you mix the chocolate bits and chips into the batter, make sure they are distributed evenly in the batter. If not, they might gather and sink to the bottom of the pan. These brownies will definitely be gooey chocolate goodness in the middle!
