Bisquick Apple Cobbler Recipe

A yummy and easy to bake apple dessert that will get rave reviews. The bisquick topping baked golden brown and the entire dessert is so easy to make! Adapted from a popular Betty Crocker recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Bisquick biscuit mix
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 4 medium Granny Smith apples
  • 4 medium Gala apples
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots
  • cup of coarsely chopped macadamia nuts or chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Pre heat oven to 350F/200C
  • In a medium bowl mix the bisquick, brown sugar, butter and macadamia nuts
  • Prepare the gala and granny smith apples and place apples in a 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon on the apples
  • Evenly top with the dried apricots
  • Sprinkle all of the bisquick mixture over the top, filling all the corners too!
  • Bake uncovered 30 to 40 minute or until the apples are tender. Your cobbler will bubble up at the edges and the topping will be golden brown.
  • You can keep your Bisquick Apple Cobbler in the refrigerator for about 3 days (if it lasts that long!) or you can freeze it in airtight containers for approximately 3 months.
