Apple Mixture:
- 1 1/2 Cups Freezer Apple Pie Filling (or 1 cup chopped & peeled apples
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar use with Chopped apples only
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon use with chopped apples only
Bread Mixture:
- 2/3 cup White sugar
- 1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
- 1 3/4 tsp Baking powder
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Butter if you use unsalted then add ¼ tsp salt
- 1/2 cup Whole milk or cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Mix the chopped apples with brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
Cream the sugar and butter with your mixer.
Add the eggs, milk and vanilla
Add the flour and baking powder, and stir by hand until blended.
Place half the batter in the bottom of a prepared loaf pan.
Add half of the apple mixture, and lightly press it into the batter.
Add the remaining batter and another layer of apples.
