Ingredients

Apple Mixture:

  • 1 1/2 Cups Freezer Apple Pie Filling (or 1 cup chopped & peeled apples
  • 1/3 cup Brown sugar use with Chopped apples only
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon use with chopped apples only

Bread Mixture:

  • 2/3 cup White sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Butter if you use unsalted then add ¼ tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk or cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Mix the chopped apples with brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
  • Cream the sugar and butter with your mixer.
  • Add the eggs, milk and vanilla
  • Add the flour and baking powder, and stir by hand until blended.
  • Place half the batter in the bottom of a prepared loaf pan.
  • Add half of the apple mixture, and lightly press it into the batter.
  • Add the remaining batter and another layer of apples.
