Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Chocolate, Walnuts and Grand Marnier combine to make a decadent pie that tasted like a warm chocolate chip cookie!

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust 10" deep dish, unbaked, chilled for 1/2 hour
  • 3 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 6 tbsp butter melted & cooled
  • 2 tbsp. orange liqueur
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Combine the eggs, sugar, butter and liqueur and stirring lightly until blended
  • Stir in the flour
  • Add the chocolate chips and walnuts
  • Stir all to combine well
  • Pour into the pie shell.
  • Bake in the bottom third of a preheated oven at 350F/180C for one hour or until a knife comes out clean.
  • Chill 4 hours before serving (or overnight)
  • To warm, place in the oven at 375F for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with real whipped cream and hot fudge sauce!
