To Perfect Flaky Pie Crust?

This recipe is the easiest, no fail ever, and will give you perfect flaky pie crust every time!

INGREDIENTS

Flour

Baking Powder

Vegetable Shortening

Butter

Egg

White Vinegar

MIX

Mix the flour, salt and baking powder in a large bowl. Add the fats, and mix together with  a hand pastry blender.

MAKE THE DOUGH

Whisk egg, vinegar and water  and add to flour mixture. Shape the dough into evenly shaped balls, wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate.

ROLL THE DOUGH

Using a pastry mat, roll out the dough evenly. Then wrap it around the rolling pin, place  into a well greased pie plate.

CHILL THE DOUGH

Crimp the edges and prick the bottom a few times with a fork. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill before baking.
