The Best Tourtière

French-Canadian

A traditional French-Canadian dish, Tourtière, or Quebec Pork Pie is usually served around the festive season. It's such a hearty meal and easy to make in batches.

INGREDIENTS

Ground Beef

Ground Pork

Cinnamon

Rolled Oats

Celery

Pie Crust

COOK

Bring beef, pork, onion, celery, parsley, and all spices to a boil. Then simmer on low heat for 50 – 60 minutes.

MAKE PIE

Stir in the oats, set aside to cool. Put the meat mixture into the pie shell. Add top crust, cut vents and brush with egg mixture.

bake

Bake at 400F for 35 to 45 minutes or until the crust is golden.

SERVE

Allow to cool. Serve and ENJOY!
