INGREDIENTS

Prepare

Mix strawberries and sugar together, cover and refrigerate.

Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together. Cut butter into the dry ingredients. Pulse until coarse crumbs form.

Stir in buttermilk and combine to form a crumbly dough. Gently mold dough into a ball and cut into 3-inch circles.

Place close together on a lined baking sheet. Brush with heavy cream. and bake for 15 minutes.

Mix heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form. Slice the biscuits in half and layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
